Entering the Bail Enforcement Field...the Facts
There are thousands of people that are interested in this vocation, in fact those interested are at such a volume that most Bond Agencies are annoyed with their inquiries. Far too much money is at risk in the business, the Bail Bond companies that assign Bail Enforcement cases ( hire) are unlikely to be interested in retaining services or sponsoring the licensing ( where required ) of unqualified individuals, including those newly licensed , weapons certified, but "unskilled" at investigations.
Nationwide, a Bail Enforcement Agent (B.E.A.) is first an Investigator. "Bail Enforcement Agent" is usually a big change from previous vocations or training for the majority of our students. We have experience in training Private Investigators, Bail Bond Agents, former Law Enforcement and Corrections Officers, and citizens from hundreds of different fields.

The Bail Enforcement Academy is not for those looking for the mythical "easy steps", simply fulfilling minimal State required security guard training or is some cases even less. Fully aware a professional must be qualified and reputable enough to be intrusted with the big bonds, we in no way contribute to the absurd idea that with as little as 12 hours training, in some cases from someone with no actual experience or reputation in the field, one is prepared to compete with the experienced, highly skilled professionals already established in this industry.
Entering this Field Requires a Plan and Commitment
Don't join the ranks of the "licensed, unskilled, & unemployed recovery agent network"; with the increased popularity of both bail enforcement and exploitive training programs, there is an adequate supply out there.
Invest only in realistic training where you can become capable, knowledgeable, and develop the marketable industry skills required by the Bail Bond industry.
Regardless of where in the USA a professional Bail Enforcement Agent is located, their primary marketable skill is their investigative skill, the ability to consistently locate the "un-locatable" fugitives. Your client will be someone of experience in the Bail Bond industry. Be ready (properly trained) to conduct such investigations, they will become your "life" or your failure, immediately, starting with your first case.
We have Alumni consisting of both Bail Bond & Bail Enforcement Agents all over the USA, the job and your marketable skills are the same everywhere. Your State may require a license*, license requirements may vary. Usually the applicant is required to obtain various security guard weapon certifications and a background check. It is relatively easy to obtain a license in most States, it does not requires investigative skills or ability of any kind, nor that you possess the knowledge gained from actual experienced professionals. This explains the "licensed but unskilled" label applied to those attempting to compete without the skills required by the profession.

The Bail Enforcement Academy Curriculum
The Academy curriculum has evolved with ten plus years of experience both in the training of students and supporting our Alumni in the industry. A curriculum that is thorough in preparing individuals from all over the USA for actual employment and a successful career in Bail Enforcement.
Anyone in this business knows it is not too difficult to learn apprehension assistant skills, or complete State required classes where required.
Fact: You can become an Certified Instructor of most State required courses yourself in 90 days or less. Without exception none of these courses or certifications teach the most important skill...locating fugitives.
Becoming qualified and even licensed to apprehend a fugitive when sighted is not difficult. Security Guard Training Centers can provide all the training necessary. The Bail Industry, whom does all the hiring, and stand to loose the big money, are very aware that if you can not locate fugitives, your apprehension skills, OC, baton, and Taser certifications, etc. are not going to become an issue, even if one is State licensed where required. Do you have the skills to locate fugitives the client, a Bail Agency cannot locate ? Will you obtain that skill in the new "field operations" course you choose, watching DVD's, or reading books then joining some "association of similarly trained individuals" ?

1. Your Knowledge: ** Pre-Attendance Home Education Study Course - Learning the basics of this Industry prior to Academy attendance. Our training program is extensive, we are not a read along the textbook "lecture" program. We utilize your home time to read the major fundamentals of the Bail Enforcement industry, preserving your Academy attendance to learn the "inside professionals only" training, the knowledge required to succeed.
2a. Your Training: Academy Attendance (3 days) - Learning the confidential unpublished tricks of the trade & "hands on" aspects of our program from highly qualified Instructors whom in addition to their reputation in the Industry, are extremely experienced at training Agents and professional course presentation. Note our extensive curriculum. The information here is confidential, no true professionals publish their methods, it's passed down here. Do Not Confuse this with a minimal "Field Operations Training" class ( Note: Washington Agents will require an optional 4th day for State weapons certifications) )
2b. For Washington State Agents Certifications: - Optional 4th Day for Washington State Required Certifications - Baton, OC, & Taser
3. Your Lifetime Support: Becoming Active - Establishing and promoting your Agency, gathering on the job experience, free case assistance, National Alumni Network membership, Lifetime Free Consultation and Assistance from the Academy & Alumni professionals whenever needed. This assistance in solving difficult cases and making your first apprehensions are critical to your success. This program is not a three day Academy "clone seminar" it is lifetime of Association, Assistance and Networking with established active professionals.
